My Mountain Mover

The Leader Behind My Mountain Mover

A look at the vision, leadership philosophy, and journey of the CEO who built My Mountain Mover into one of the healthcare industry’s leading virtual assistant companies in both the United States and the Philippines.

Turning a Healthcare Challenge Into Opportunity

Before Amanda Ketcham became the CEO of My Mountain Mover, she grew up seeing what the demands of healthcare looked like. Her mother worked as a nurse, and Amanda watched her spend late nights charting on their dinner table long after her shift had ended. Years later, when the COVID-19 pandemic put even more pressure on healthcare professionals, those challenges became much harder to ignore. U.S. healthcare professionals needed reliable administrative support, while professionals in the Philippines were looking for stable and meaningful careers. To bridge both gaps, she helped build My Mountain Mover.

Years later, that early idea still shows up in how Amanda leads the company. She continues to look for better ways to make finding, onboarding, and working with a VA easier for clients while pushing for benefits, training, recognition, and opportunities for the people behind the work. Looking back at the decision she made at 22 to help start My Mountain Mover, Amanda puts it simply:

"You never know what your ‘yes’ will turn into. It could be the catapult for your life, the transformation of your life, [and an opportunity] to bless and serve those around you.”

Amanda conceptualized and helped build Mover Match around a simple idea: AI should make hiring better without taking the people out of it. For clients, that means finding VAs who are better aligned with what their practice needs. VAs, in turn, can find opportunities where they can make the most of what they do best and continue to grow. To Amanda, Mover Match was an opportunity to make hiring faster and easier while making sure the right people are in the right seats.
